We are getting ready for our fall line and are excited to have added The Real Mother Goose in Portland, Oregon and Shirley Allen on Captiva Island Florida as retail partners.
This fall we will be featuring new kantha and suzani coats and jackets as well as African mud cloth coats and jackets. These are also fully reversible. Take a look. For North Carolina folks, Lark will be hosting a trunk show on October 25th.

We have a new group of coats coming out this weekend at Lark in Chapel Hill, NC. These coats are made from vintage Indian kantha quilts and suzanis from Uzbekistan. When a woman has a daughter she begins to embroider the suzani. Over the years she is helped by friends and eventually her daughter. When the daughter marries she hangs the suzani in her home. They are incredibly detailed and gorgeous! You can see them on the backs of these coats.

Coats from The STORIESCOLLECTION are now on display at the Aldo Castillo Art Gallery in the Design Center in Estero Florida. We are excited.

This is the first run of the Storiescollection. They are mostly sold out but a new group will be available at Lark in Chapel Hill NC soon. All the coats and jackets are made from vintage fabrics from around the world including kanthas, suzanis and african mudcloth but they are sewn here in North Carolina.
