Can we all collectively celebrate for a second?
Okay…… cue the confetti.

Because What About This? is BACK, baby!
And I have missed these
little Friday chats so much.

If you’re new around here, these convos are
where we ditch the script and just… talk.

You + me and whatever’s been living
rent-free in my brain that week.

Like, the things I’ve been noticing.
Conversations I can’t stop thinking about.

My latest fave finds.
The funny moments.
The hard moments.

And all the random rabbit trails that
somehow end up pointing us back to Jesus.

Basically… all things life in the middle.

Some weeks we’ll laugh.
Some weeks we might cry a little.
Most weeks we’ll probably do both.

Think of it like grabbing coffee with a friend
who starts every conversation with oh wait-
okay … but what about this?” ☺️

So reheat your mug
or ice your latte.

Get comfy, and come hang out with me.

I’ve got so much to tell you.
Let’s talk about this.💙

Some conversations are hard.
And some conversations are holy.

Sometimes they’re both.

They’re the questions we rehearse
in our heads but never say out loud.

The ones we whisper to God.
The ones we wonder
if anyone else is carrying too.

Because we’re afraid
of being misunderstood.

Afraid of being judged.
Afraid someone will tell us
we’re too much… or not enough.

So we stay quiet.

But silence has never been
where freedom grows.
Honesty is.

And I believe there is something sacred about
bringing our honest questions into the presence
of Jesus and trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us.

Today my dear friend Christy Osborne and I
are talking about Christian women + alcohol.

Living free.
Coping.
And our hearts.

Not to put alcohol on trial.
Not to hand you someone else’s conviction.

But to create a safe place
where we can simply ask,

“Lord… what am I really reaching
for when life gets heavy?”

I don’t know what this conversation
will stir in you.

Maybe nothing.
Maybe everything.

But my prayer is that you leave listening a little
more closely to the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit.

Because maybe courage
doesn’t always look like
having the answer.

Maybe it looks like being brave enough
to be willing to ask the question.

If you’ve been carrying one quietly…
Friend, pull up a chair.

There’s a place for you here.

We don’t always fall apart when life gets heavy. Sometimes we just carry more. Until one day our body starts carrying it too.

If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t seem to rest,
why your mind won’t slow down, or why you keep finding yourself back in survival mode, this conversation is for you.

And I hope it feels like someone finally
put words to what you’ve been carrying.

This week on Wildly Hopeful, Tori Mae Hein | Work From Worth
and I are talking about burnout, trauma,
the nervous system, and the hope of
discovering you don’t have to keep living this way.

Healing is possible.

You’re not broken.
You’re not behind.

And your story doesn’t end in survival mode.

🎧Episode 52- When You’ve Been Strong
For Too Long with Tori Mae Hein.

07/17/2026

The hardest part of suffering isn’t always the pain.

Sometimes it’s the silence.
When heaven feels quiet.

When your prayers seem unanswered.

And you’re left wondering where God is
or if you’ve somehow missed Him.

But what if we’ve misunderstood His silence?

What if suffering doesn’t reveal God’s distance…
but it reveals His character.

The book of Job reminds us that
God never stopped being God
simply because He stopped speaking.

And maybe that’s the invitation for us, too.

To trust His character
when we can’t trace His voice.

Because sometimes we don’t discover
who He is before the storm.

We don’t even recognize
His faithfulness after the storm.

And sometimes the deepest revelation
of who He is comes right in the middle of it.

In the middle of a whirlwind.

This conversation with AUTUMN MILES
is one I will not forget.

It reminded me that God’s silence
has never meant His absence.

If you’ve ever wrestled with where He is in your suffering,
I hope this episode gives you permission to bring your hard questions to Him. And leaves you with a deeper confidence that He is still present in the waiting. He is still faithful silence.
And He is still at work, even when heaven feels quiet.

Wait… what’s my name again?
Not literally.

But in that quiet way
of wondering why you
don’t feel like yourself anymore.

you feel off.
a little empty.

Just not… you.

And no one really talks about this part
the part where nothing is falling apart
but something isn’t right either.

So you try harder.

But really,
you don’t have to earn your seat.
You already have one.

And I know that might not be how it feels.

you’re still showing up…
you’re doing all the right things…

and yet

you feel tired.
a little empty.
maybe even a little hangry in your faith.

So you try harder.
Show up better.
Fix what feels off.

But what if the problem isn’t your effort?

What if you’ve just been living like a guest
in a place you already belong?

Like you have to prove you deserve
a seat at a table that was never
based on your performance.

But you’re not a guest.
You’re not an outsider.

You’re not someone hoping to be invited in.

You’re a daughter.
And daughters don’t audition
for a seat at the table.

They sit down.

They’re known.
They’re named.
They belong.

You’re not behind.
You’re not disqualified.
You’re already seated.

if your soul is hungry…
and somewhere in the tiredness,
you forgot who you are

Then this weeks episode of
Wildly Hopeful is for you
🎧What’s My Name Again?
with Amy Seiffert

Maybe you’re not lost.
Your soul needs nourished.

And be reminded,
your name is daughter. 💕
