Black always works…. It can pull lots of colors together to make it unified. This sweet lady’s clothing choices were so different on the color spectrum - makes for a very interesting quilt that her loved ones can snuggle in for years to come

Sometimes people ask me to fix very interesting things! Her new name is Pocahontas! Lol

Wow! I did it! Pieced this beauty mostly in the car, waiting places, in the quiet moments… pieced in a year! Just proves that if we use the hidden moments we can accomplish something. What do you do with those hidden moments?

Just because I’ve been quiet doesn’t mean I haven’t been hard at work (well sometimes it might mean I’ve been resting on my laurels! But not this week! Lol)

Check out this fun school shirt! A child drew a picture of all things Charleston. I’m guessing it was an assignment or perhaps a contest. Look closely this does capture all things Charleston! Teach em young to know their city/country and to love and be proud of it!💕

This incredibly soft and snuggly quilt was made from pjs and robes, no batting, minky on the back. Makes me want to find a good book, a cozy chair and a cup of tea!

Shout out to the southern men: you are snappy dressers. This shirt proves it! The machine embroidery is stunning. This specific man had 40 some “fishing shirts” way cooler than the average t shirt the guys wear up north!

Because not ALL quilts are made from upcycled clothing….🥰
