Emily Warfield is a Charleston/NYC-based event planner and the founder of Gatherings by Emily, a full-service event design and production studio rooted in thoughtful details, beautiful storytelling, and design-forward experiences. With a background in interiors, hospitality, and operations, Emily brings such a creative and intentional perspective to everything she touches.

On Monday I turned 34 ❤️‍🔥

Recently someone called me an “old mom,” which made me laugh because most days I still feel like I could be a teen mom just trying to figure it all out. Motherhood has changed me in ways I never could have imagined. It’s made me softer, stronger, more emotional, more confident, and somehow more unsure all at once.

A couple weeks ago I had the honor of attending an intimate dinner at home on Sullivan’s Island while was in town for the week. It felt like such a special night. Every woman there was so authentically herself. It felt refreshing, inspiring, and grounding in a way I didn’t expect.

Jane has been such a meaningful supporter of Nette, and nights like that remind me how special it is when women encourage one another. I still can’t believe this little shop has led me to friendships and experiences like these.

As I reflect on this past year, I keep coming back to the idea that you can do things imperfectly and still do them well. That showing up matters. That community matters. And that sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is simply be yourself.

Feeling really grateful for this life and the people along the way. Love you, mean it 💘
