Last night in my apiary, I watched a Yellow Legged Hornet swoop in from the sky, intercept one of my honeybees in midair, and carry her up to a tree to dismantle and eat her. And that was just one. Heartbreaking.

THEY'RE HERE.

YLH is a serious threat to honeybees as well as native pollinators. Here in SC, NC, and GA, we are on the front lines against this invasive species. If you like to eat food, you should care about them. Please read and keep an eye out for nests. You can also set simple traps to catch and report them. Read the article to learn more.
