Farming is in our families, but skipped to us too. Family farm land is still in a few hands up in NY on my side but didn’t come to me. Which is fine because we came here. The love of plants, animals, food and fiber drives us as well as the belief that we all deserve good local food and products. This community is important. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. We can all learn new skills and grow.

Not to say, don’t buy local obviously. But know your grower, f**k buzzwords and most importantly, buy what you can afford so you can eat and feed your family. Fed is best.

Happy Pride!! These are the best cookies… if you want to treat your favorite q***r fiber spinner from one of your favorite bakers at the market, they have the gluten free vegan chocolate chip cookie and they are without exaggeration the best GF cookie I have ever eaten in my life ;)
