Unboxing the December Sewn Magazine issue featuring my handmade beaded evening dress… it still doesn’t feel real 🥹

The theme was “Sew Frosting” — glitz, glamour, and sleeves. I created this look using McCall’s 8602, and this project pushed me in the best way. From choosing the fabric to navigating beaded fabric challenges, to finally holding the issue in my hands… moments like this remind me why I love sewing.

Seeing your work live beyond your sewing room is something I’ll never take for granted.

So grateful to for this feature and for trusting my work ❤️

✨ North Carolina PatternCon 2025 is officially in the books! ✨

What a beautiful weekend filled with memories, laughter, and friendships. It was a little tricky trying to capture every moment while also staying present 😅 but I did my best!

Meeting so many of these incredible ladies in real life honestly felt surreal — total fangirl moment 😆🙈 Many of them have been such an inspiration to me online, so getting to connect in person was truly a blessing

The creative energy in that room was unmatched 🥰 Huge thank you to Tricia of .costume.academy for bringing us all together and creating such an unforgettable event! ❤️
