This new generation of moms is incredible. We're not "waiting til they're ready", we're not believing the lies that cloth diapers are too hard to manage, we're not ignoring our babies needs.

If this speaks to you, come join us! It can feel overwhelming to go against the social grain, but I can help you shed the societal narrative and start tuning into your baby the way nature intended. Just comment READ IT and I'll DM you my free guide on baby pottying so you can get started right away ❤️

If every parent started pottying their babies, we could HALF the number of diapers heading to landfills. And that's a *conservative* estimate! In reality, if more parents knew how easy it is to potty their babies, they'd also be more likely to switch to cloth diapers.

That's the goal at Flappy-Nappies: Normalize babies going potty, normalize cloth diapers, and make it easier than ever to make those choices.

If you're ready to give Elimination Communication a go, I've got all the tools you need to get started! Comment READ IT if you'd like me to DM a free guide or comment WATCH IT if you'd prefer to watch a free video tutorial 🫶

Let’s compare a baby using the toilet vs a diaper:

Diaper: Baby’s p**p gets smooshed up against his bottom and private parts. Some p**p might leak out and get on clothes and furniture. Baby’s p*e is soaked into the diaper and sits against his skin. Contact with p*e and p**p risks diaper rash and infection. He must tolerate p*e and p**p in the diaper until he is changed (most parents don’t change diapers more frequently than 2-3 hours). Cleanup is messy for the parents if there’s p**p.

Toilet: P*e and p**p exit the baby and fall directly into the toilet. Almost nothing gets on baby’s skin. Baby is held in a squat, the natural position for humans to p**p in. Cleanup is minimal.

If you can avoid the diaper… why on earth wouldn’t you?? Elimination Communication is easy to begin at any age, and I can teach you how in my FREE starter guide to EC. Comment READ IT if you’d like me to DM you the link.

Story time! In the 1950’s, most parents started potty-training their babies by 9 months old, and most kids were potty-trained by 18 months.

Then disposable diapers came along. At first, no one wanted to use plastic and paper diapers, so Pampers launched a massive marketing campaign.

They paid renowned pediatricians Dr Brazelton to push a “readiness” approach to potty training that discouraged all potty use until children showed arbitrary “readiness” signs.

The result? Generational wisdom was lost, Pampers doubled its profits by doubling the potty training age, and millions of tons of waste enter our landfills every year.

There is no scientific evidence that delaying potty training is beneficial. In fact, researchers increasingly show the opposite.

You don’t have to listen to Pampers propaganda. I can teach you how to start pottying your baby as young as birth! Comment READ IT and I’ll send you a link to my FREE guide to get started. Prefer a video? Comment WATCH IT and I’ll send the link to my FREE video guide instead ❤️

A common misconception is that EC is reserved for parents who stay home with their babies and have nothing else to do. False!

Potty training takes time and attention no matter when you begin, but starting now with your baby has many benefits long term, even if you only offer the potty once or twice a day!

I kept my baby’s changing pad right by the toilet so that I could easily potty her at every diaper change! I also kept cloth wipes by the toilet so I could hold one over her bottom between toilet and changing pad to prevent drips.

I’ve got tons more tips in my full video tutorial on EC (free!). Comment WATCH IT if you’d like me to DM you the link 🫶

Most parents can recognize the baby’s p**p face…. But then just let their babies make a mess in the diaper. Why?? If you *know* baby needs to go, why not hold him over the toilet to p**p and save yourself the mess?

Most diaper rash is caused by sitting in p**p or p*e (even just for a minute or two). You can save your baby so much pain by avoiding p**py diapers when you can!

It’s not hard to learn to potty a baby! And I can teach you how in my FREE video tutorial. Comment WATCH IT if you’d like me to DM you the link so you can get started 🫶
