We love interesting small things at Needful Things, like this 19th century antique majolica pot-bellied vase by Cantagalli of Florence, Italy. 11 inches tall, it truly is a rare piece with its interesting "zoomorphic" handles. Bucolic landscapes of the Italian countryside are painted on its surface in rich shades of blue, and cherubs frolick upon one side. The vase has some scuff marks near its lip, but it is in otherwise excellent condition for its age. We looooove all things Gothic! Check out this pair of gorgeous antique Jacobean Revival chairs, circa 1890s, featuring an ornate Gothic-style design with turned legs and stretcher supports. They are upholstered in deep red velvet on both the seats and backrests, and accented with nailhead trim. The backrests are elaborately detailed with floral motifs and intricate carvings. Both chairs are in good condition with some visible wear consistent with age and use, which only adds to their Gothic charm. Measurements: 17.5 x 16 x 43.5 - 18 to seat.
