Good evening from Needful Things, and if you're in the mood, allow us to entertain you for a long moment with a story and a little music! Pianos seem to be a dime a dozen these days, but we're going outside our shop for just a minute to show you this *exceptional* vintage 1969 Everett console piano with walnut finish, featuring young Reese Barksdale of Weichert Realty on the keys! We didn't know Reese from Adam prior to this spectacular show he put on for us with our mum's Everett Piano we're listing for sale - in fact, he came over to talk with our sister about the *house* she has for sale in Guntersville, Alabama. When he saw the Everett in the house, he commented that it was a nice piano and that he played a little. Sis asked him if he would give us a demo, so he kindly obliged. When this nice, quiet young feller sat down in front of the keyboard, he suddenly *transformed* and shocked us silly as he roared into this fabulous Scott Joplin piece on the Everett. We didn't know what to expect, but we didn't expect him to wake up the Everett as he did, and to give us such an amazing performance! Everett's "Dyna-Tension Scale" and "Balanced Tension Back" were proprietary engineering features developed by the Everett Piano Company in the 1940s which allowed their upright (console and studio) pianos to produce a richer, more powerful sound comparable to much larger, grander pianos. You can see evidence of that here, as Reese does a masterful job in displaying the Everett's abilities. This particular Everett is in wonderful condition, and it has a really lovely cabinet. Comes with its cushioned bench, pictured here. It would be a beautiful addition to any pianist's home. At $350, it's a BARGAIN. If you're interested, send us a private message.
