Time to clean the machine! 🧹
When you notice that something just isn’t right about the way your machine is functioning, one of the first things you should do is check that it is clean and clear of any dust bunnies, threads, and particles. Plus, keeping your machines maintained properly will extend their life!
Just like taking your car for an oil change or rotating its tires, our sewing machines need the same type of maintenance plan.

Tools of the trade:
This is a sewing apron I created to assist with fittings. When I’m pinning your garments during an alteration consultation, all the pins and clips I could possibly need are conveniently within reach. Certain fabrics require different types of pins. If you have come for a fitting, you have probably seen me wearing this and have witnessed firsthand the functionality of my sewing apron. 🪡📍✂️🧷

It was a short but busy week in the office. I am posting again to inform y’all of yet another office closure. We will have family visiting from out of state for the next week, so I will not be available again until Monday August 3rd. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This project started with an idea, and a simple drawing. And it ended with hugs and prayers.
