Tournament of the Castle Renaissance Faire tickets go on sale at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 22nd!
Advance ticket purchase is required, no tickets will be sold at the gate.
Join us at Bacon's Castle on November 7th and 8th for a thrilling weekend featuring medieval full-plate armored combat from the local Tidewater Dogs of War, alongside international teams battling for prizes and 1st place. Witness the Classic Level Melee and all aspects of medieval combat, set against the backdrop of the oldest brick dwelling in North America.
Spread across 40 acres, this is the second two-day renaissance faire at Bacon’s Castle, offering a variety of family-friendly activities. Delight in entertainment from musical performers, demonstrations by blacksmith’s guilds, and more! Explore our artisan craft market, savor mead, craft brews, wine, and indulge in an array of food truck offerings. There’s something for everyone, so don your Renaissance attire and join the festivities!
Adult admission is $22 | Military, Senior (60+), AAA admission is $20 | Preservation Virginia Members and Students ages 12-18 admission is $15 | Under age 12 is free!
The event will take place rain or shine and is located at Bacon’s Castle, 465 Bacon’s Castle Trail, Surry, VA 23883. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience history come alive!
