It's been almost 7 months since I lost my dad and I have not gotten better at understanding the how or the why. I haven't gotten better at stopping the secret and sometimes silent tears. I haven't gotten better at intercepting ambushing grief.
The one thing I've gotten better at is saying, I AM NOT OK, and being totally comfortable in saying that.
I am not interested in carrying the facade of being strong all the time. Sometimes I am not strong. Sometimes I just don't feel like being strong and it is what it is.
Whatever I feel, I know now that it is 100% valid. That alone makes me stronger.
I have shared my thoughts and feelings with you all in the form of emails, text messages, and social media posts and you have shown me nothing but LOVE.
I let y'all know my dad's nickname was Soul and that the Dope Soul message was a dedication to him. Y'all took that and made the Dope Soul message a bestseller in our collection. *tears*
It's not necessarily easy being business owner these days and it's even harder when you're used to bringing a certain energy that seems to have left. Grief is hard and it comes in waves.
I say all that to say, THANK YOU ALL for rocking with me. I've said it before and I will say it again: this is about WAY more than t-shirts for me and the way y'all love on not just me, but my Dad too...it's proof that God has his hands on me & that's a sweet reminder. ❤

✔️My friends never took me being M.I.A. to heart! They cheered me on & celebrated every win with me every single time!

I purchased on 11/27/22 and as you can see it states 2-3 days for shipping, which would've been 11/30/22. On Dec. 4th they changed the shipping time frame to 10-14 days. On 12/9/22 I asked for a full refund because I hadn't received a shipping notification and then I received the last message.
