Hey guys! We made it through Orlando airport security in like 10 minutes 😮 so I have some extra time and would like to share my experience at Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge.
First of all this is one of my favorite resorts on property. I visit here everytime I come to Walt Disney World. Not only is it beautiful, but it has an amazing breakfast buffet called Boma! Can’t recommend it enough!
As soon as we walked into our room we were greeted by a zebra outside of our window! Such a cool experience! You have a chance at seeing many different types of animals including giraffes, unfortunately the giraffe mama was feeling under the weather when we were there so her and her baby weren’t out.
The pool is beautiful and features a water slide that keeps the kids entertained for hours! Fun fact about Disney hotels is that they provide life jackets for the kiddos so no need to pack the arm floaties 😂
One downside to this hotel is the transportation that is included. You only have bus transportation to the parks and Disney springs and with this being a deluxe resort it kind of does suck. Hopefully there are future plans to get some other forms of transportation to this resort!
There are 3 table service restaurants here as well as a quick service. An arcade is on property. There are also many animal trails at this resort that you can explore! You need a full day to see the whole resort 😂
So, if you can splurge and go for this hotel on your Disney trip, I’d highly recommend it! OR if you want to stay here but don’t know if you can swing it for your whole trip. You can do a split stay with another resort and lessen that cost but still get that Animal Kingdom experience! Hey guys! I’m currently on vacation but I have a few minutes and I want to talk to you about non Disney park trips AKA resort stays!
This trip my mom and I are doing a carnival cruise but we are beginning and ending our trip at 2 different Disney resorts! We won’t be going to any of the parks.
Our first resort we stayed at was Caribbean Beach Resort. It seemed fitting as we were getting ready to head out on a Caribbean vacation! We loved this resort! I think it’s one of the biggest resorts I’ve stayed at yet. This resort is on the Skyliner hub which is so convenient if you’re headed to Epcot or Hollywood studios! They have a few beach areas and life size games for the family to play! There’s quick service food and also a sit down restaurant called Sebastian’s Bistro. We didn’t eat here but I’ve heard the rolls are to die for!
CBR has one of the coolest pools on property. I think it’s worth staying here just for that 😂
Let me tell you, we did not get bored at all during our resort stay. Between exploring the resort, going to the Polynesian Resort for lunch and monorail vibes, going to Chef Mickeys for dinner, and ending the night at Disney springs we felt like we had been in the parks all day 😂 not a bad thing at all!
