REGIONAL CHAMPS!!

For the first time in school history, the Chester High School boys golf team has won a regional title!
The Yellow Jackets topped the field October 2 in the Class 1A Cobden Regional at Union County Country Club in Anna.
Chester defeated second-place Waltonville by seven strokes to win the championship.
The best four Yellow Jacket scores came from Trevin Eggemeyer 81, Tallen James 83, Noah Homan 87 and Evan Dunning 89. Max Blechle finished at 107 and Kross Jany 111.
Chester will next compete in the Zeigler-Royalton Sectional October 7 at Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort.
