Let’s set the table for spring 🌼 🌷 ☀️

Guys when I tell you this was just the beginning of my tearing the store apart and setting up new vignettes, believe me I went a little nuts. I am over the snow, the ice and the quiet streets of Chestertown. It’s time to mix things up!

The store is now refreshed and ready for spring clothing arrivals that start on Wednesday 😊 I am also working on a fun idea for April first Friday. Hint: it has something to do with the terracotta pots and work table 😉 so if you aren’t on the email list, you might wanna sign up to get the details. Happy Monday ya’ll!

This month we are featuring a gift that will encourage a spring picnic. Our mini Laguiole cheese knives come in six vibrant colors and are dishwasher safe. They pair perfectly with our handmade olive wood boards that are beautifully crafted in Tunisia. If you would like to set this gift over the top, add a set of sari napkins or tea towels. These are made in India from repurposed material and give a carefree boho vibe.

We are continuing with our new weekly series where you guys can get to know the people behind w&w.

This week we are featuring Faith and her favorite things. Starting out of with an entire section of the store Faith loves the t-shirt wall display. As the store manager, she has helped select many of the funny styles that we stock. Next are two of our most glam vintage decor items. Her personal style is boho glam and this mirror and that candleabra are just that. Switching gears Faith’s favorite item in the workshop is our beloved sander “Dex”. He is always there when she needs him and helps with every piece of furniture that she refinishes, which are her last but not least favorite things. Faith has been working hard refinishing the furniture for over a year now and has worked on almost every piece in the store.

Most days you’ll find Sam covered in paint in the workshop or hunkered down in the office on the computer but ever once and a while you’ll see her in the store.
