Some of you may have already heard the news about "the Big Four" pattern companies going out of business.

Now is a great time to become familiar with projector patterns and companies that print indie patterns on engineering paper!

Could we start a local library movement to set up projectors and cutting tables?

The legacy sewing pattern brands Simplicity, Butterick, McCalls, and Vogue, commonly referred to as the Big 4, have been sold to a liquidator.

Years ago I bought some of the sundress fabric with elastic shirring to make a swim cover up. Never wore it so when a sweet little girl needed the perfect dress for with her dads, I just had to bubble the hem and add lacing to snug up the bodice so she could feel every inch the princess (with room to grow)!
