After college and honing her skills with designers like Betsey Johnson & Anna Sui Anastasia decided that it was time to start her own clothing line called: Anastasia Chatzka. Anastasia is truly a lifestyle brand; her collections encompass everything from ball gowns to intimates. What you didn't know but want to know: How did Anastasia get into fashion? asia wanted a pair of bellbottoms and could not find them in the 90's. So naturally she made a pair. Her mother took her to the fabric store, showed her how to set up the sewing machines, and she was on her way to discovering the art of fashion. Anastasia loves music! If she was not going to be a designer she wanted to be a leading women in the rock n roll music industry. A few of her muses are Kim Gordon, Kathleen Hanna and Courtney Love. The support of local Detroit music venues actually helped give Anastasia her fashion retail experience. Creating garments all week, then setting up racks of clothes at punk rock shows in Detroit and selling to the concertgoers.. Anastasia has a diverse background from college in fine art, textiles, business and fashion.

There is a good chance you know how much I love fashion & fashion history but did you know I LOVE riding my bike. It’s always been a huge passion of mine & it’s actually how I met my husband. We love riding our bikes. This summer we set up with Zwift to make training easier with the horrible weather we have had in Chicago. We are gearing up for two weeks of riding in the Netherlands & couldn’t be more excited for the trip. This weekend we will ride over 100 miles! Sounds crazy right?! You can you do it too!!! Just start peddling. It’s really fun & great to see new places . Plus if you are on Zwift, let me know. Let’s ride together virtually 😘
