✨At 21, when I was still discovering who I was, I had the extraordinary privilege of being taken under Bob Mackie’s wing.
He taught me how to cut and drape, the intricate art of beadwork, and what it means to create couture.
Nearly 40 years later, his lessons are still with me every day, in the garments I create for clients who have become dear friends.
His passing brings tears to my eyes. The world has lost a legendary master, and I have lost someone who helped shape both the designer and the person I became. To have worked with this visionary was an honor I will carry for the rest of my life.
Thank you Bob Mackie for sharing your knowledge, your artistry, and your extraordinary imagination. A part of you lives on in everything I create.
