Some snaps from our pop-up in St. Louis last weekend with .us. Field Theory is a perfectly curated outdoor apparel boutique located about 15 west from downtown STL-if you’re ever in the area, pull up on them!

Shout out to for the hospitality! We all had a blast checking out the city and meeting new folks. Thanks also to everyone who stopped by the shop Friday and Saturday and to those who turned up to hike a couple miles (uphill lol) on a Saturday morning!

Thank you also to Gene at for coming through and hooking us up with coffee post hike and to for the intros!

Yesterday I walked into my local REI (Lincoln Park) and bought my own hat. A surreal moment✨

Just wanted to pause and say THANK YOU- it’s because of you all that this is even possible. Every like, share, follow, compliment and criticism helped us get here 🙏🏾

🚨 CLIMB NIGHT ALERT🚨

Pull up to First Ascent Humboldt Park on April 8th at 7pm for CLIMB NIGHT with StarTrails.

Free to register, $15 to climb (includes shoes + chalk). First 10 people at the location get in free, so don’t lag.

We’re excited to link up with our friends, led by Eric Gomez! Eric runs StarTrails, an outdoor adventure group focused on getting more people outside in the Chicagoland area. They host hikes, bouldering sessions, and runs, all about building community and encouraging folks to explore the outdoors. Give them a follow and tap in!

Robert’s Westside x Literally Outside Gear Swap 🏕️

The Gear Swap & Market is a home for our community to participate in buying, selling, and trading used outdoor goods with each other.

Clean out the garage or closet and give old gear a chance at a second life. From tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, hiking shoes, jackets, climbing shoes, headlamps, you name it. As long as it’s lightly used, all is welcome at the swap.

Participants are asked to bring a maximum of 5 gently used outdoor items to swap. You can take home as many items as you brought to swap.
