Marc Nolan Modern prep with humor and flair Sebastian Malczewski moved from Poland to the United States nearly two decades ago.

A lover of fashion, for 10 years he worked in New York City with his mentor Marc who showed him the ropes of selling, buying, and manufacturing shoes. A self-taught designer and obsessed with details, Sebastian’s aim was to bring sneaker level comfort and style to classic dress shoes and boots. Thus, in 2018 Marc Nolan was born – the name an ode to Sebastian’s mentor Marc (the past) and tribute to

his son Nolan (the future). Marc Nolan shoes are inspired by iconic sneakers merged with classic footwear aesthetics. We design our shoes to be versatile to be easily dressed up or down – from joggers to suits – shoes that handle almost every situation effortlessly that feel comfortable on your feet all day. We work with small factories to attain premium leather, suede, wool, and manufacturing materials – some of the same ones that produce world-renowned designer labels. With these direct relationships and running a lean operation, we are able to keep our costs down and deliver premium quality shoes without paying for typical luxury markups.

We're looking for a General Store Manager to lead our West Loop Chicago location—the person who'll run the day-to-day of our store while also serving as the face of our brand in Chicago. This role is for an experienced retail leader who knows how to manage a team, drive sales, and build genuine connections with style-conscious customers in our community.

Your primary mission is twofold: operate a high-performing store (team leadership, sales targets, inventory, store standards) while connecting with the kind of customers who share our brand's spirit—bringing them into the Marc Nolan community as loyal shoppers and event attendees.

Previous retail management experience is required. Beyond that, retail savviness and being a people person are a must.
