It was such an amazing weekend at my kids’ baseball tournament, but I couldn’t help feeling guilty and completely heartbroken over the devastation in Venezuela. My heart breaks for the babies left without their parents, the parents left without their babies, and now the uncertainty of where those children will end up. Some have already been kidnapped. The families whose lives will never be the same. Donations and medical supplies are being blocked by the regime. More buildings collapsed today.
Tragedies like this affect me deeply and take a toll on my mental health. I can’t go on and not do something to help. I wish I could do something to erase their pain, but for now, I’ve started a fundraiser in hopes of helping, even in a small way.
Every dollar raised will be sent directly to someone I personally know in Venezuela who is on the ground helping families with her own hands as we speak. She has been working with me for a long time, and I trust her completely. I know these donations will go directly toward providing supplies and support to those who need them most. I will provide proof of where the funds are going. If you’re interested in helping send me a DM and I will share how to donate and more details about her and what she’s doing.
I also understand that times are hard and that not everyone is in a position to donate financially. If you’re unable to give, please know that your prayers are just as appreciated and deeply needed. Keeping the people of Venezuela in your thoughts and prayers means more than you know.
If you feel led to help, any amount—no matter how small—would mean so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And again I will be sharing updates of everything she is doing with these donations. 🇻🇪❤️
