Let’s be honest - Tech Week is chaos and non stop BUT the real ROI of Tech Week isn’t in the panels, it’s in the people.

💜 The ones who show up early and stay late.

💜 The ones who remember your name and your big idea three events later.

NYC’s founder community isn’t just thriving; it’s alive and electrifying. And it’s the humans behind it who make this city’s tech heartbeat pulse stronger every year.

Tech Week is for the people by the people!

This week reminded me:

When you find a kindred you KNOW it! Thanks to and the Creator Summit by I’ve had the incredible opportunity to connect with so many amazing humans in the crafting community and industry. Like this gal - Laura Coia of who is not only creative and talented but SO FUNNY!! (Slides the slides to see how she cuts me up… see what I did there ✂️🪡)

But that’s the best part of the Creator Summit and trade shows like h+h Americas... it’s really about bringing people and ideas together! Connecting in ways that bring us all forward 🧶🧵

And stay tuned because I just may have convinced this brilliantly creative human to be part of the Creator Summit next year!!! 💜🙌🏼🤩

One my favorite parts of the Creator Summit at ? The conversations! The connections. I have as many photos of me in deep conversations as I do snaps and poses and I love it!

Getting to connect with so many incredible makers and creative business owners, hearing about your new projects, discovering innovative products, and sharing real talk about what’s next in our industry —it was inspiring.

So much of what we do happens in solitude—creating, planning, building behind the scenes. That’s why these in-person moments with our community are so impactful. The conversations we have here? They matter!

They’re not just updates or ideas—they’re real connections. They remind us that we’re part of something bigger. They spark new possibilities, deepen our understanding, and directly shape how we grow, build, and serve this community we love.

Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas, updates, and energy. Let’s keep the conversations going. 💡🧶

That’s a wrap on all the goodness of the Creator Summit with and the h+h Americas Tradeshow week

It was jam packed for us where we co-produced and hosted the second annual Creator Summit, had product demos, hosted legal workshops on Copyright and Trademark and contract law AND co hosted the second annual LYS / designer - instructor meetup with Patty Lyons. It was quite a week for me and my team.

It’s also the closer of a busy event season.

It is full on non stop for me and my team from November to May. Back to back events, loads of extraverting and people-ing and just go go go. I’m so fortunate to have such a great team and grateful for such a successful event season.

This was our biggest event season yet which brought new challenges, new problems to solve, new ideas to be born, new collaborations and relationships and most of all, new clarity as we continue to build.

I’m so excited for what’s ahead. But first… a moment to reflect plus yes… I shall unwind in my happy place for 2 days. Then we start planning for next year!

Stitch Up Chicago 2025 is wrapped! The pics from are in and it’s quite clear: a TIME was had!!!

While this event is my idea and my heart, it’s certainly not “mine”. It’s for this incredible community of fiber arts enthusiasts coming together.

and I certainly don’t do it alone. I am supported by an incredible team of human beings all around me. The people in these photos really helped make the magic happen and this event is that much better because of each of them. I look at these photos and I see joy and it makes my heart smile. And continuing to partner with our host yarn shop each year and all those who come together to make this event what it is makes the difference.

Our hosts were exceptional this year, our Indie Dyers were vibrant and creative and inspiring and helped create an environment for creativity!

This was our biggest event yet, and it’s sold out the fastest and it was just a joy. My heart is so full 💜

It’s here!!! It’s Stitch Up Chicago week and I am PUMPED!

This pic was randomly snapped last year just as we opened registration tables and it’s basically what I look like every year when we open the event. It’s my greatest joy and passion to create and host this event.

All the long hours and hard work are worth it when it all comes together and 150 knitters and crocheters arrive ready for a few days of fiber, fun and community.

This all started with an instagram post that said: Anyone wanna come knit or crochet with me? And all these years later I’m so glad that the answer is still: YES!

This year sold out faster than ever before. I was blown away. And we have sponsors who have been with us since day one and who are brand new. We have great co-hosts this year with my dear friends .knits and joining me to host the event. It’s magical in ways I can’t really articulate.

We are also going to have a Designer Showcase featuring the hosts plus designers bringing my worlds together 💜

It’s possible I might smile even bigger this year just for that.

Life is wild. I’m here for it. And as I say to open the event every year: LET’S STITCH!

Recently got a chance to share about at and it was so exciting! Now that we are in full Beta for designers and coming up on launching Maker Accounts later this year - this was the first time I’ve been able to really introduce GoSadi this way. It is so exciting to be out there sharing about what we’ve been building with the very community we are building for!

Nash Yarn Fest was so welcoming and I cannot even count how many people came up after with questions and excitement for the platform. Our waitlist grew overnight!

It’s only the beginning for us

This is the biggest and hardest thing I’ve ever done. Most of it was done in isolation so to be out there now sharing it is truly incredible.

Nashville was a time and just what I needed so thank you and .daily.knitting !!

What a whirlwind of awesomeness in under 48 hours …

Got to be part of a new yarn festival, talk about GoSadi, make new connections, strengthen existing ones, snag a Dolly inspired bag, learn new things and see old dear friends. Yarn people are the best people

Even right up to the very last minute on my way out when I got to see the one and only to cap off the day was perfect

Let’s do it again next year!
