Rad Rodent Hi, we're Rad Rodent! We are a couple of Chicago creators who first met in high school. Stay tuned for many more designs to come!

Zoe is an experienced Etsy Star Seller of 5+ years (she sells antiques in an Etsy shop called "TomsBasement"), and Hugh is a professional designer. We are both multi-disciplinary art makers who love science, crafting, animals, the natural world, vibrant colors, funky patterns, the fantastical, and quality memes. :)

This shop is an exploration into new territory for both of us, since we have been wanting to make cute, cool, and colorful things together for a very long time!

We had such a good time at Empty Bottle with Handmade Market Chicago for their last show of the 2025-26 market season this past Saturday! 🌸🐣 We even got to meet Peg! 🐱 Thank you to everyone who came out to support this super cool and iconic market, and thank you to everyone who stopped by the table to say hi or pick up a little something! 🥰

I made these iridescent, color-changing chameleons for fun, so I could wear them to a reptile-filled work event last week! Had a truly amazing time at the 20th anniversary market this past weekend! 🪩 Thank you to Heather for the opportunity, and to all the cool vendors and shoppers alike! 🫶 It was an honor to be a part of one of Chicago's longest running handmade markets. Also had a wonderful experience yesterday at my second Field Museum Craft Fair, which is open only to staff and volunteers. For the second year in a row, I was totally blown away by the incredible kindness, support, and talent of this cool community. 🥲 Thanks, everyone! 🫶

Despite the (literally) historic amount of snow we experienced during the last weekend in November, we still had the best time at the Vault Market at ☃️🎉 Thank you so much to everyone (and their stylish cats?!) who braved the snow storm to come say hi, shop small in their local community, and cross a few things off the ol' holiday shopping list! ❄️🥶 And many thanks to and for being such generous and supportive hosts! 💖🥹
