I have been so absent from here I haven’t even posted pictures of my studio make over… which was a year ago 😝 Thought it would be fun to scroll through thousands of photos to find all the snaps of the studio over the years.

I have moved that massive table 3x and every time I say it will be the last because it requires moving out all the fabric stored below which is a major pain in the ass. 😓

I’ve always been so grateful that this has been my AMAZING sewing space since 2012! ❤️❤️❤️

I am in ❤️❤️❤️ with this jacket!

This jacket looks like it would be simple to make but it actually took me some time… something I am trying to embrace because I generally like to crank out fast garments.

It has some strategic top stitching and is fully lined so it’s a great light weight jacket for the odd Chicago winter/spring days. It’s made from this gorgeous salmon boiled wool fabric that I stuffed in my suitcase back from London.

This was the Burda Style Desert Moto Jacket and it’s a super cute style. I added a little more room for the girls🍈🍈 but other than that didn’t make any fit adjustments. My white top is me made too which is a self drafted Tshirt with a center front ruching.

Went to London. Bought all the fabrics. This gorgeous salmon wool just had to cross the pond with me and I’m wasting no time cutting it to make a jacket 😍

Funny story, when I came through customs the agent asked me what I brought back and I said “fabric.” He looked so perplexed and said it was an odd thing to bring back, especially for a trip to London (I totally disagree) but I let him know “Not when you sew as a profession and make all your own clothing!” 😝

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted… sorry for ghosting but it’s been busy around here.

Personal and business alike it’s been a lot to juggle but popping on to say hello. I’ve been sewing all the things for others and making some really beautiful things that hopefully I can share soon 😃
