Dinner reservations or design consultation? At Marcel 945 Madison, the answer is both.
Tucked beneath the iconic Breuer building on New York City’s Madison Avenue, Marcel was created by Roman and Williams Guild in collaboration with Sotheby's. The restaurant is a contemporary response to Marcel Breuer's monumental Brutalist architecture. Warm walnut paneling, sculptural lighting, handcrafted materials, and layered vintage furnishings soften the building's raw geometry, creating a space that feels both intimate and immersive.
The experience extends beyond the dining room. Many of the custom furnishings, lighting, glassware, and tabletop pieces designed for Marcel are also available to purchase, allowing guests to bring elements of the space into their own homes.
Part restaurant, part gallery, and part retail concept, Marcel reflects the growing intersection of hospitality, design, and collecting.
