Hey hey hey, garden walkers! It’s a beautiful day to stroll about these streets we call Bucktown. While you’re out and about, I made a little map of Garden Goats for you, including some of our favorite coffee and cocktail spots, in case you get a little parched.

While I like to keep our chaotic goat core close to home, these kids have made as far as Fargo and Pakistan. Beloved, I tell you.

There’s a few more available if you’d like one of your very own, so come say hi while you stop and smell the roses this weekend.

I’m just putting the finishing touches on our Garden Goat map for the morning’s release. We’ll post up on our sidewalk with 50% off select floral inspired stationery and green thumb books. Be sure to hop along INDIE ROW BUCKTOWN for all sorts of fun, including the long awaited return of Door 24 Wine’s Sip + Stroll.

Given the fact that we expect the shop to crowd quickly, we kindly request dogs and strollers remain outside. We’ll keep it nice and cool inside for you and the kids with treats and water outside for your precious pups.

To our beloved community, we thank you for making this one of the most fun weekends along our Bucktown blocks. We can’t wait to see you.

Our favorite weekend is almost upon us and it’s jam packed with events up and down our Bucktown blocks. That’s right, it’s Garden Walk time and we’re proud, once again, to be a sponsor of these backyard botanicals. For our part, we’ll introduce the latest in our limited edition Bucktown mug collection along with a half dozen local baseball caps and some brand new schwag. More importantly, there will be sidewalk sales and specials at a dozen spots, including this one.

Virtu’s sidewalk sale will be a pruned back version of the legendary one that’ll happen later in August. For this weekend, you can expect to find half off all Rifle Paper Co., inside if it rains. It’s a great time to stock your card drawer as those who know, know.

Thirsty? Cool cool. Get your tickets ahead of time for Door 24’s Saturday Sip + Stroll from 1 to 4, because those tickets move fast.

I’m told there’s more than 130 gardens to investigate along the way, so be sure to pick up your guidebook at Lottie’s, while you check out their annual petting zoo too. This Saturday and Sunday, you’ll find blossoms and blooms and music and munchies throughout this beautiful Bucktown community that we call home. It’s weekends like this that we really shine, so I hope to see lots of new faces because

🚨 The latest herd of goats was seen making their way into Virtu, a local shop on Damen Avenue. 🚨 We’re asking you, can you help find these a home before this weekend’s Garden Walk? It takes just a few moments of your day to look them in their hand painted eye, and recognize the community of Bucktown, for which they stand. It’s an urgent need, weather is getting warmer, and your parkway needs a friend. Won’t you come to Virtu and adopt one of these recycled buck buds? Give them new life in your garden or on your deck, some even like to frolic at home, alongside your fiddle leaf fig tree or spider plants. Every day, all over the world, oil drums suffer needlessly in landfills everywhere. Cruelty, neglect. This year alone, 46 goats and kids have been rescued at Virtu.

You’ll recognize them formerly as On Your Feet Foundation, the beneficiary of our Three Stacked Leaves necklace from dear Philippa Roberts.

Run by a dear friend and customer, the Birthparent Support Alliance is the leading organization, if not the only, who provides comprehensive support and community for individuals who have placed a child for adoption.

Join us for sips and sweets from 3 to 6 pm and do a little shopping, all in the name of good. We’ll offer the donation on sales all day long, in store and online. So sorry, this will not apply to gift cards.
