This is why I’m a no on brunt. This is also why I’m not wild about rose anvil; in addition to not always getting the info correct, he seems to do paid spots for items and he seems to be critical of brands who don’t…I could be wrong. Happy Thursday yall! I feel a little sad I need to post this…but after today, here we are. We are a boot store and we sell fireboots to fire people and their support. We also do a lot of resoles for fire personnel; we prioritize them because they often need their boots quickly and don’t have as many options as other trades; their boots also tend to cost twice as much so are more challenging to replace.

I would say that 99.5% of our customers know we do this and appreciate that we do this. But there are always a few bad apples who don’t believe they should have to wait while we attend to the needs of the firefighters we all depend on. I have two signs up at the store and verbally tell people of our policy and I still had two angry women who believe their needs come before everyone else. I will not change my policy to appease two bad apples. But I will say, I didn’t have a sign during the park fire and had a customer who made me feel I needed one. Last year, I had one sign. This year, I have two. If you feel you cannot support our fire personnel by patiently waiting for your repair, please wait until after fire season or visit one of the other repair shops who will not put fire people before you.

I appreciate all of you who help me help them by being your awesome selves. I always tell people I have the best customers in town and I do. Thank you.
