Spencer and I were at the Fishersville Antique Expo this past weekend, and when we came across this incredible sewing thread display, our chins hit the ground!

I’ve never seen anything quite this massive or detailed before. As someone who loves all things sewing, this one was pretty special to see in person!

Have you ever come across a sewing display like this?

I may have a bit of a ric-rac problem. 😂 (this is only a portion)…

I’ve been collecting these for years, and now I think it’s time to actually use some of them.

So tell me… what would you make with all this ric-rac? Send me your ideas!!

Stop by and see what you can find at Cambria Station Antiques! Open everyday until 6pm and our booth is crammed full of fun vintage sewing notions, inspiration and love.

What does a booth restock look like behind the scenes? A LOT of this.

I’ve spent two full days in my sewing room sorting through the massive hoard of vintage sewing notions I’ve accumulated, followed by cleaning and pricing. There were even some surprises along the way as I picked up items I hadn’t known existed. 🤣

I’ve also marked down some things that have been sitting around a little too long because I need to make room for more quilts and new things coming into the booth.

Even though today’s Cambria Halloween festivities were rescheduled for next Saturday because of the rain, Cambria Station Antiques, Mountain View Mercantile and Jungle Gem Plant Co. are all still open today for your enjoyment.

So stop in and say hi!

WE’RE RESTOCKED! And this weekend’s booth is packed with brand-new quilted goodness.

Fresh from last weekend’s festival, we’ve filled the booth with new quilted totes, boxy bags, zipper pouches with wristlets, denim jackets, and quilted pumpkins.

So many vintage quilts. So many new second lives. And every piece is one-of-a-kind.

If you’re local to Christiansburg, the New River Valley, or Southwest Virginia, make a little stop at Cambria Station Antiques this weekend. We’d love to see you!

📍 Christiansburg, VA
🕕 Open every day until 6 PM

Now that we’ve had a little time to recover from the Wilderness Trail Festival, we just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

So many friends stopped by to support our little business, and then to hear some of you say you saw our posts and had to come find us brought tears to our eyes. Those moments mean more than you know.

It really does take a village—not just to raise a child, but to support a small business, too. Every like, comment, share, and kind word helps us more than you realize, even when you can’t join us in person.

There’s no rest for us so we’ve already been working to get our booth at Cambria Station Antiques restocked.

While we didn’t get nearly as many pictures as we would have liked, but we did manage a few family photos. Ken was working at the antique store and missed the photo session, but he deserves a shoutout, too. He’s one of our biggest supporters, and we’re so thankful for him!

P.S. To the sweet lady who purchased a boxy bag early that morning: we realized after you left our price tag display was incorrect. We are so sorry! If you see this, please send me a DM, and we will make it right. 🥰

Thank you for cheering us on and being part of The Quilted Tale. We appreciate you more than you know.

Downtown Christiansburg TODAY until 4pm at the Christiansburg Kiwanis Club

We’re getting ready for the Wilderness Trail Festival, and Gracie and I thought we’d give you a little behind-the-scenes look at our trial run!

We love being prepared, so today we pulled out all the furniture, shelves, and tables to see how we want everything to come together. There’s something about laying it all out, moving things around, and figuring out what looks and feels right before the big day. It’s a simple setup for now, but it helps us picture how we want our booth to come together!

Tonight, we’ll be loading everything up, and tomorrow we’ll be up bright and early, ready to bring it all to downtown Christiansburg. We’re so excited to share our repurposed vintage quilt creations, sewing treasures, and more with you!

Come see us at the Wilderness Trail Festival this Saturday, September 19, from 9 AM–4 PM in downtown Christiansburg. We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces!
