Bride found an almost dream dress at a sample sale at Margene’s Bridal. When we met she showed me a picture of the bodice and sleeves she liked. Once I said “I can make it happen” she said yes to the dress. I added 4 pieces to under skirt to make it fuller. Then removed the top section of the bodice, replaced with sheer tulle, added long sleeves and used the leftover lace to cover the sheer. Alterations can make your dream dress into a reality.

Kim from Margene’s called me 2 weeks ago with a bridal emergency. The bride has gone with different seamstress for a build up and was panicked over the look of her dress after bridals. I luckily had the matching fabric leftover from a previous bride. She meet me on a Tuesday, fitting Thursday, finished Friday with the wedding on Saturday. I made a waist seam in the back so I could sew a new back that covered. Put in a longer zipper and re-spaced the buttons down the back. The bride looked in the mirror and said “Yes this is my dress, this is what I pictured”. Making wedding dreams come true is the best.
