✨ Exciting news! ✨
I’m honored to share that my fiber art piece, “Burning Beneath Tides,” has been selected for the Radiance 2026 Exhibition Gallery.
The inspiration behind this piece comes from the ongoing global coral reef crisis. Around the world coral reefs are experiencing an unprecedented die-off as prolonged marine heatwaves push ocean temperatures beyond what these fragile ecosystems can withstand.
Known as the rainforests of the sea, coral reefs are home to approximately 25% of all marine species. Their decline threatens entire ecosystems and countless species that depend on them for survival.
Burning Beneath Tides is my interpretation of both the beauty and vulnerability of these underwater ecosystems. Through fiber, texture, and color, I wanted to capture a reef suspended between flourishing life and irreversible change. A reminder of what is at stake beneath the ocean’s surface.
The exhibition opens with a Gala & Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 12 and runs through August 7th.
I’m incredibly excited to see my art displayed alongside the work of other talented artists and can’t wait to experience the exhibit in person.
