Mannequins.

Why do I have a fondness for them?

I have no idea.

But I do have a fondness for them.

So today when I found these beauties, I didn’t hesitate.

What should I do with them?

I can see them with wigs and hats and furs.

I can see them with witch hats and capes for Halloween.

I can see them just hanging out and being fabulous.

In the next installment of “vintage lessons from Mom”….

Did you know that if you are redoing a piece of furniture, and the hardware is either painted, or is oogie with years of dirt and grime buildup, it’s an easy fix!!

Just toss it in a crockpot with some water and dawn for a couple of hours, and the paint or dirt is easy to scrub off!

Elbow grease and bar keepers friend is all it takes!

I got an old crockpot at a garage sale for cheap, and I just keep it in my barn with my work stuff.

Just a few of the many things I’ve found in the last few days.

The green jar!! 😳😳. Man it’s a beauty.

I also found a vintage ceramic wreath! This is only the 2nd one I’ve ever found.

AND have you ever seen a 3 faced Japan Santa?? I hadn’t.

So yes, I might have sweat through a shirt or two, but these things are CUTE!!

I tried to take a pic of a giant mirror I found, but I couldn’t find a spot in my barn that didn’t reflect all my mess….. sooo… that one you’ll have to see at the store in person… lol

Went to a sale this morning…..Nice stuff but all newer and VERY expensive. Then I saw these cute little jars for $2 ea....

Then I saw these cute little jars for $2 ea.

Turned one over and…..

At the very least, take the dollar tree stickers off….. 🙄
