Over a thousand pieces of music sheets on the table! How do I know?? Because I just spent the day sorting them all!! 🥴 Spending this weekend with 80 women. While they’re crafting, I’m working on big music sheet packs to bring to the ephemera booth next week. Can’t wait for you junk journalers and crafters to see these. 🎶 They will complement the Hymnal Page Packs well. 🎼

I picked this old book up today. Like I do anywhere I go… always picking up the old falling apart books. And then I freaked out when I came across the first old Victorian calling card. 😲 Flipped a few pages and came across a few more. 😲 😲 Flipped a few more pages and came across another one and a postcard. 😲 Needless to say it came home with me. The first time ever in my life that I bought a book just for the pieces tucked inside! Except the long locks of hair… sorry but those immediately went to the trash. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So precious! 💚

Another stop in Skiatook to see some other friend’s booths. Forgot to get a pic in Rebel Honey’s booth. 😢 But found my new friend Wanderlust & Reverie. She has such a neat eclectic style! And you absolutely cannot stop in Skiatook without making a tastee freeze stop for a dipped cone! 🍦

Antiquing with my best friend today (hubby! 😊). Started in Skiatook. Finally made it to my friends booths. I got to see some of The Weathered Pearl’s beautiful furniture that she’s been painting with Fusion. I love that they have booths across from each other. Stacey and Pam will be set up at The Junk Ranch in May!

With this winter spring weather that we are having, I’ve been taking advantage of it by focusing on the ol homestead. Our 1980’s home is loaded with wood. Beautiful Oak all throughout but it has taken a beating with 5 people and 2 dogs living here. Out of all the products I’ve ever used on furniture since the 80’s, this is by far my most favorite! It is superior to any and all products, doing an incredible job of making wood look brand new. And the best thing about it is, that it is made right here in Oklahoma, in Skiatook! It is made with petroleum so you do need adequate ventilation. With our Okie weather, I usually only have a short window of time in the spring and fall to have windows open and the attic fan on. Thankfully Spring arrived a few weeks ago so I’ve been able to get caught up on bringing new life back into our wood!

As you wipe it on with #0000 steel wool, you can literally see it instantly pe*****te the wood. Then you wipe off with a paper towel. Use another paper towel to wipe again, making sure you got it all. There is an awesome tutorial pinned to their page.

Check out the before and after photos. This is seriously the best, definitely better than Howard’s! But I don’t use The Victorian House as much because of the petroleum base. You can find it at Ace in Owasso, and I believe Claremore might carry it as well. You gotta check this out, it is amazing stuff!
