Can you tell we couldn’t make up our minds 😆 VINEVIDA | Essential & Fragrance Oils has so many wonderful (free of phthalates, parabens, SLS, and SLES) oil fragrances and they’re made with FAT HEAD HONEY FARM farms, real beeswax and our pure Tallow!

We will also be selling them online once they cure, set time is about it a week!

The day my corporate job came to an end because let’s be honest I was too scared to quit, and they saw the writing on the wall.

I was let go from my job that had taken a lot more out of me than I think I even realized at the time.

At the time, I had no idea what the next year would look like, but I knew that this was it – it was go time! No time to sulk. I needed to propel our business forward somehow, now that I was moving on. My sister and I had a little business, a lot of ideas, and no clue how much it would grow.

When I left that job, 402 Tallow Co. was just in TWO retail locations. Thank you to Urban Farm Boutique and Sandhills Clothing Co for taking a chance on us!

Fast-forward one year, we are now in 23 locations across four states! We’ve been a part of some pretty amazing big vendor shows such as JUNKSTOCK® and Nebraska Deer & Game Expo and many more that we otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be a part of.

But honestly, the numbers aren’t even my favorite part.

Josh and I made the decision to give me the opportunity to stay home and be with our four kids while putting my time and energy into building this business with my sister. I’m forever grateful for his support on that. 💕

Has it been easy? Short answer - no. We’ve had to have some hard conversations and decisions to get through. There have been worries of surviving on one income in today’s economy, long days, and the pressure of building something on your own without failing 🙌🏼

The stress I used to carry with that corporate job has subsided. HOWEVER, I want to note I am so thankful for the EIGHT years I was at FUSION because the friends and the contacts that I was able to make from that job WERE unmatched.

Now, my stress is self-induced, and it comes from not wanting to fail or let our families down. 🤎

One year ago, I didn’t get to choose how the chapter ended.

One year later, I get to choose what I do with the next one!

Leo is our Quality Control Inspector 😆 that’s what someone commented on Tik Tok and she wasn’t wrong😆

I put our plain whipped tallow (tallow and coconut oil) on him after his bath and accidentally left the jar sitting on the end table and he took an opportunity to taste it. It looks like frosting but sure doesn’t taste like it 😆

402 Tallow Co. will join us for the 2027 Nebraska Deer and Game Expo presented by Whitetail Trophy Properties Real Estate-Nebraska on January 15-17 at the Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. They are two sisters with one mission:
Honest Skincare. Handmade products with simple, pure ingredients using locally sourced grass-fed beef tallow.

Okay, last one, I promise!

We are SO excited to share that you can now find us at Cottonwood Refillery! They are carrying our hydrating Aunti A’s Honey Wash and our seasonal perfume rollers. 🐝✨

YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEM OUT! I felt like a kid in a candy store walking through there! 😍

They have everything from parasite detoxes and homemade laundry detergent to spices, honey, supplements and SO much more. There is seriously something for everyone!

And one of my favorite things about Cottonwood Refillery is that you can either purchase a container from them to fill up or bring your own! ♻️ Less waste is always a win in my book!
