I was asked at work if I was excited that it was finally Hispanic Heritage month, and I said, “ Not really, I mean Latino immigrants are being villainized.” At the same time, I do celebrate all of the Hispanic trailblazers and their accomplishments. Let's not just celebrate Hispanic culture but also the immigrants that have brought their culture to America. I am proud of my roots and my family’s struggle ✊🏽🇲🇽🇸🇻
