I just listed this gorgeous porcelain bust, found a little temporary home for her and 10-15 min later, she sold.
I’m happy, of course, but a little part of me gets bummed when I really get a section built around a certain piece and it leaves me. It’s for the best, it’s what I do, it’s what I love, but it doesn’t change that I will always have the urge to collect some of these items that I truly believe are more and more rare in this world where everyone just throws everything away in the name of minimalism…
It really makes me wonder what people will be “thrifting” when this generation becomes antique and vintage…will things that are made today be worth the early morning estate hunts, the thrift store digging, or the long garage sale days?

I’m gonna hafta look into this one unless one of you pottery gurus know…I just saw this same bowl (pretty sure) on Little House on the Prairie (Netflix)! It was the nesting bowls minus this one 🤩…is this actually an antique mixing bowl? I really think so! Also, who else loved the show?! It has me watching the old ones all over again 🫶🏼
