This is something I’ve been struggling with for a while now, and I’ve stuck with it for longer than I probably should’ve, because I really do love what I do, and also for all my loyal clients that have stayed with me over the years… but effective immediately- I will no longer be accepting new orders of any kind. I WILL honor those orders that are already in & have deposits paid (as well as the raffle winners)… I will finish those out and then I’m walking away. I simply can’t continue to be taken advantage of, especially by people I considered my “friends”. No one would continue going to a job every week & working their butt off, not knowing if they would get a paycheck at the end of the week… why should I be any different? It’s not fair to my family for me to have to work 70-80 hours a week and still not even be able to buy groceries sometimes…you don’t work for free, why should I?
This isn’t necessarily directed at one person, as I’ve pretty much kept a running list of unpaid balances upwards of $1000+ for the last couple of years, I just can’t justify continuing to let it happen. I REALLY appreciate all of you that have trusted me with your daughter’s wardrobe over the years- I never would’ve gotten this far without you all!
