I was nervous to post this and claim it publicly, but the Lord allowed me to get this far, so I should CLAIM IT!!
Since starting The Clay Fig, the vision was always to keep it Christ, and health centered. Healthy mind, healthy heart, healthy body. We are the clay and He is the potter! The fig fruit has flowers that bloom on the inside of it, only after things die. It’s very metaphorical, but very real! The old, made new- hence my love for the silverware and “junk” art 😉
Visions for The Clay Fig are coming into fruition, as I have recently obtained my Holistic Nutrition Certification! It is one small part to many ideas and hopes. I will take the next few months to be my first client. So much about holistic nutrition is about you as a whole person. Your emotions. Your triggers. Your relationships. Your work life to life quality balance. Your sleep patterns. Holistic nutrition looks at the root of what may be facilitating unhealthy habits, and helping people identify them to start making genuine and beneficial life changes, without feeling deprived. This is an approach that is backed by true change, down to the root, and at the heart of who you are. These are things I need myself! And that is why I’m so excited to journey through this first, and then create space to help others. This is not just for certain groups of people. Some may approach these changes naturally, while others prefer going the medically assited route with weight loss shots. No matter your approach, true change needs to be established to maintain your long term goals. I will be able to help you navigate through that! I am aiming to get it going by January.
Now that this is in motion, I will move on to continuing the Yoga Faith portion. It centers on Christ and meditates on the Word. I hope to focus mostly on somatic yoga, and trauma informed yoga, so keep your eye out for that as well! I hope to have that going by next summer.
