Remember that stack of pockets? I’m so excited to reveal The Pocket jacket, a special piece I’ll be taking with me to tonight through Sunday. When we participate in a big event like The Vintage Edition , I try to create one piece that really represents who we are.

This one has been in the works for a few months, gathering pockets and picking stitches. Each pocket was stitched together to create large pieces of fabric…how many pockets do you think it took to complete? I added things like vintage pockets and waistbands to add just a little extra. ➡️ swipe to peep all the details! The Pocket is versatile, oversized and will fit sizes medium to xx-large. One of the coolest things about working here is the people…I have met some of the most talented artists and consider myself lucky to be part of this group. Getting to collaborate with for this capsule filled my creative spirit in ways that are hard to explain. It challenged me to learn how to take structured canvas and manipulate it into/onto a garment. It made me appreciate paint to canvas and the beauty in those vibrant gemstone colors…all from a cloth used to clear a palette knife while creating works of art. Beauty can be found everywhere, and I am grateful she shared her tools with me.

I hope you enjoy this collection, it’s unique and has so much character with a story to tell. Come see it in person tomorrow night from 5-9pm, we’ll have special guests and here with us to help celebrate the first day of spring 🧵♥️

Sneak peeks 👀 Check out a few of the new pieces that will be a part of The Denim Capsule launching tomorrow! Just enough to tease you, and as I was taking photos I am so excited to share these. Each one has its own unique vibe, oversized and so easy to style…anyone can wear them. Come see them in person during the Art Walk from 5-9pm, or on our website (live also at 5pm). It’s been a minute since I’ve done a true capsule…this one started with one jacket using 5x5 patches of scrap denim and has evolved into a 10 piece collection that is pretty darn cool. Almost every piece has been made using scraps from my bins, it is truly amazing what you can do with those bits that are left over. Sneak peeks eyes 👀 coming tomorrow, collection will be available this Friday at 5pm
