“…AND THE DYE GODS SMILED”

3XL Gilden Heavy

Well this turned out! I tied this shirt up at the Akron Food Truck Festival last weekend with Cleveland Bazaar and Akron Bazaar, threw some dye on it Sunday and washed it out yesterday. It was a very cool event and I got to meet a lot of great people, including the very gracious Just A Dad From Akron.

Ok, since *someone* didn’t show my reel to anyone yesterday, I guess you get another post.

This one will be at the 78th Street Studios Third Friday market with Cleveland Bazaar, along with what I posted yesterday and a good bit of other new work. Come on down, it’ll be a good time!

*NFS* Large Comfort Colors

A work friend of mine saw the battleaxe shirt and told me his son is a competitive fencer…so here we are!

The blade is only an inch wide, which was a serious challenge to keep reasonably lined up and isolated. Red, blue and purple was the color combo that popped into my mind when I went to dye it, and I usually go with my instincts if I don’t have a specific palette pre planned.
