Happy June! Summer is hereeeee and I need to upgrade my summer wardrobe so let’s get to it! This summer is all about effortless & transitional looks.

It’s been a min since I made something for myself so I decided to do something simple and easy for this first look. I love my new striped halter top, I already wore it out😭. As someone with a small chest, halter tops are so flattering on my body type. I’ll probably be making more *fair warning*, but I’ll still try to keep it fresh and unique 😉

A time was had .fashioncircuit Groove Theory fashion show!

Yall showed out last night!

Like what!!!! that was wild, this collection was so fun to make and it evolved so many times throughout the past couple months but this process really make me appreciate nights like this.

I think clothes is so much more than just piece of cloth that you put on your body it’s also a language and there’s so much history tied behind it, and I believe we should be looking at it more introspectively.

I could go on and on about this but first let’s get into these looks & the show! 🤩

I just love custom clothes so so much because you can really tell the vibe of the person wearing it. It warms my heart to help my clients bring their vision to life! 🥰

Is it just capris or capri pants?? Idk but I’ve been loving the look of wide leg capri pants and wanted to recreate my own!

Took me forever to complete but love the finished product. It’s a mix of business casual with a splash of punk with the addition of studs.

So comfortable and easy to dress up or down!

FINALLYY ! After 4 long months we finally got the keys to our first UpStitch Studio location!! This has been a dream in the making for a while now and I’m so blessed that it’s come to life! ✨

This location will serve as our flagship location where we host 1 on 1 & small group sewing classes as well as tailoring, repair, & alteration services. I will also be selling my 1of1 Rachel Reloaded pieces along with creative services from my business partner .lashayconsulting

Our goal is to reduce textile waste while increasing creative confidence within our community!

So if you have clothes that have been sitting in a bag somewhere, bring it to us so we can breathe new life into them. 🥰
