Ashley has always been that friend that gets me. She’s the person to call when you just need to talk things out, bounce off all the ideas to, or when you just need someone to listen to the highs, the lows, and the in betweens. Whatever you’ve got, she’s there walking with you every step of the way. Now that we’re 40-ish ☺️, I’ve found that kind of tried and true is a rare and precious thing. ⁣

She’s the queen of thrifting, a magician at picking out the perfect paint colors, and always exudes that “cool girl” aura (proof in this gorgeous picture that I hijacked).

It’s an honor to call her one of my nearest and dearest friends and I can’t imagine doing this small biz life with anyone else. ⁣

We are big, HUGE Kristin Hannah fans here at AsterAra. She’ll break your heart again and again with her narration and characters and not even bother putting it back together by the end of the book, but we are so here for it!
We’re both reading her most recent book “The Women.” (gold star rec for sure) Without giving too much away on this historical fiction, Frankie is the book’s protagonist who spends years in Vietnam as a military nurse. While women weren’t involved in combat, the reader is painted a very vivid and heartbreaking picture of all that Frankie endured while literally and heroically putting soldiers back together under fire. It’s such an incredible book and you can’t help but think, “Let’s hear it for the girls!!” while reading.
With Mother’s Day around the corner, it especially feels like the season for the women. Women are the heads, the hands and the hearts. Women are the keepers.
Think in a lifetime all that one woman will keep and hold for those that she loves, for friends, generations to come, in her line of work, even for strangers. Frankie held and kept so much while tending to the soldiers during her time at war that it makes us want to reflect with gratitude for the keepers in our own lives.
Understanding that, we’d love to hear about the women keeping and holding for you….

The People’s Princess Collection drops tomorrow at noon EST! We have two stand alone items, as well as the collection box that will be available to you through the website.

We have enjoyed the collection box process so much and would love to make these ongoing for you! We hope you love receiving them as much as we enjoyed putting them together.

Here are the details for tomorrow’s collection box. We know it’s lengthy but the details are worth it, we promise!
Each People’s Princess Collection Box will include *six* total items, all inspired by Diana’s style that will ship to you in the loveliest pink box.

The six definitive items that will arrive in each box are as follows:

1. *One* sarong (one size) available in neutral or multi-colored

2. *One* straw striped clutch bag available in options mint, pink or tan

3. *One* pair of statement earrings available as gold hoops or pearl droplets

4. *One* pair of neutral aviator framed sunglasses (A surprise! We will pick these for you!)

5. *One* vintage pre-loved home decor item inspired by Princess Di (A surprise! We will pick this for you!)

6. *One* packet of ready to plant forget-me-not seeds (Diana’s favorite flower!)

7. If you have a strong preference on the sarong, straw clutch bag, or style of the earrings, you will note that in the “message” portion of placing your website order. We will do our best to honor these on a first-come first-served basis.

If no notes are mentioned, we will select your items for you and know you will love your surprises!
