Fairmount Cleaners Inc. Established in 1927, we are a family owned and operated garment cleaners that prides ourselves on ho Joe's son Sidney moved the company to Lee Rd.

Our founder, Ernest (Joe) Hoare opened our first location at the corner of Cedar and Fairmount in Cleveland Heights in 1927. Joe offered a pick-up and delivery valet service for $1.50 a month. Fairmount Cleaners still offers the great service today but it is FREE! in Cleveland Heights in the late 1950's. Sidney added to Fairmount's capabilities by purchasing the company's first dry-cleaning machin

e so that we could process all of our own dry cleaning. Sidney's son Steve Grace joined the company in 1985 and was trained at the International Fabricare Institute as well as at his fathers side. Steve added the company's first laundry service so that Fairmount Cleaners could accommodate the customers shirt and linen needs. Steve moved the Fairmount Cleaners to the plants current location in University Heights in 2000. In 2009 Steve's son Adam joined the company and is now representing the company's fourth generation as he learns by the side of his father. Together they added new equipment to make the company more efficient to cost down on resources consumed. Also we are proud that we purchased a new dry cleaning machine that qualifies us to be a "Green" dry cleaner. This new machine uses a Solvent called K4 that is non-hazardous to the environment and the people working with and around it. At Fairmount Cleaners we have always held ourselves to the highest of standards. From cleaning and pressing to customer relations we strive to be the best. Essential Business

As of 3/23/2020, Drycleaning and Laundry services are officially considered essential. The entire staff of Fairmount Cleaners is proud and grateful to be classified as essential. We are able to provide a service that improves the immediate environment we navigate in by sanitizing textile items we wear and use.

As of now our regular hours remain in tact.
Monday through Friday 7 am to 7 pm
and Saturday 9-4.
