Sometimes life hits hard, and you have to shift everything just to get through the day. That’s what I did. For the last 10 days, I stepped away from Kara’s Shop of Pretty Things to focus on my family and what mattered most in that moment.

No new drops, new content, new earrings made, and no pressure to “keep up.” And honestly? It dimmed my motivation more than I expected.

But I’m learning that rest isn’t failure. It’s part of the process (and healthy).

So this is me, coming back to creating slowly, intentionally, and with heart. I’m ready to make again. Ready to feel inspired again. Ready to pour back into something that once helped me find myself. Ready to prep for things ahead.

If you’ve ever had to step away from something you love just to survive a season of life… you’re not alone.💜
