Follow up reset on the hospital plate deal, good and bad.... everything looks good on that foot, sole is growing out, stay the course for now.....however, another issue has reared it's ugly head.....front foot has some white line. The tell tale "dark" spot indicates wld activity. Resected the area and packed with ho-made thrush med.check up in a couple weeks.

It's hospital plate Thursday.....this gal has some serious thrush.....vet was called in and graciously pared it out for me.....we came back and added a hospital plate so the owner can manage this til it grows out....the hole you see runs down to the tendon sheath of the ddft.

INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!!! I was blessed to attend the two day clinic this past weekend featuring Mark Caldwell PhD,fwcf. Hours and hours of classroom work and some hands on too ! Just incredible how much we learned in two days. Was great to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones too. If you missed this one, you really missed out.

Reset on the guy we did in the end of July. He has grown out some foot,but not enough to hold shoes. Went back to what works....cast the feet,then trimmed up the cast and equiloxed them on. Lastly, nailed the shoes to the cast. Guy is sound and back to work.
