It's been a little over two years since I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Very shortly after the diagnosis, came a promise of healing. A promise we clung to and claimed fervently. God continually confirmed His promise over and over. We immediately knew this was nothing more than a battle of faith. He would take care of the rest, we just needed to trust and believe. Our family moto became "Crazy Faith". No matter what, we would have unwavering faith of the craziest level, and let God fight the battle. We would believe, no matter what the report said.
For two years, He has answered prayers. He has provided peace and taken worry away. He has provided us with the finances to be able to pay a gross amount of medical bills. He has sheltered me from nasty side effects...so much so that at every appointment, my doctors would ask if I was actually taking my meds because my body wasn't being broken down like it should be.
Last month we were at church in Florida. I was praying for my upcoming PET scan and God moved in a mighty way. I finished praying and told Jesse that this was going to be the cancer free scan. Doubt tried to wiggle into our heads, but once again, we clung to His promise.
Yesterday we received the results from that PET scan. As promised, I am CANCER FREE! COMPLETELY. CANCER. FREE.
Jesus is a promise keeper. Jesus is a healer. Jesus is still performing miracles. NOTHING is incurable for Him. NOTHING is impossible for Him.
Thankful doesn't even begin to explain how we feel. But I will shout His praises from the rooftops...so go ahead and give this post a share and tell all of your friends. We want everyone to know what Jesus has done and give Him the glory!
What do YOU need? Because He's in control of it all. And faith moves mountains.
