🎪 Getting ready for the South Carolina State Fair!

Things are getting REAL around here! I’ve been busy cutting, sewing, pressing, packaging and tagging ALL the things as I get ready for a very special opportunity with the South Carolina Grown Marketplace at this year’s South Carolina State Fair! ❤️

This is a little different from my usual shows. The Marketplace will feature a curated collection of products from South Carolina makers, and the fair will handle the shopping and sales. That means I won’t be there in person—but Creations By Alice will be!

I’ve been having way too much fun deciding what to send, and there are lots of handmade goodies headed to Columbia! You’ll find everything from reversible bucket hats and cup sleeves to pouches,, scrunchies, magnetic bookmarks, and more.

I don’t personally have a porch goose (yet 😉), but I LOVE the idea and I’m ready to live vicariously through all of you who do! 😂

Creations by Alice has been taking a little downtime over the summer… but not anymore! 😉 We’re officially in full-blown fall market prep mode and getting ready for several BIG events coming up!

🧵✨ Happy National Sewing Machine Day! ✨🧵

Today we’re celebrating the amazing machine that helps turn beautiful fabric into handmade creations. From bucket hats and bags to pouches and accessories, every item starts with a few pieces of fabric and a whole lot of stitches!

Of course, it only seemed fitting that I spend part of the day at my favorite fabric store, Red Tag Fabric Inc .😍 There’s nothing quite like digging through the remnant bins searching for hidden treasures and inspiration for future projects. That’s one of the many reasons I love this store!

As a small handmade business owner, I’m especially grateful for the sewing machine that helps bring my ideas to life and for all of you who support handmade businesses along the way. ❤️
