✈️🎨 Exciting News! 🎨✈️

I'm so excited to share that Sara Lovelace Arts will be face painting at the 2nd Annual Wings Over the Westside Air Show in Coalinga on Saturday, October 3rd! 🇺🇸

I'll have a special air show-themed face painting menu featuring fun designs like airplanes, patriotic favorites, and other aviation-inspired creations—plus a few crowd favorites! Designs will be just $5 and $8, making it easy for everyone to join the fun.

🎟️ Please note: Face painting is inside the air show, so you'll need an event ticket to attend.
👧👦 Children 12 and under receive FREE general admission! (VIP admission requires a VIP ticket, regardless of age.)

Be sure to grab your tickets early and come spend the day enjoying amazing aircraft, aerobatic performances, static plane displays, food vendors, and more!

✨ More layers... more progress.

It's amazing how a painting changes with each layer. Sometimes it feels like you're making a mess, and then suddenly the story begins to reveal itself.

Maybe life is a little like that too. We grow through layers—some beautiful, some messy, all necessary.

I'm excited to see where this one leads. 💜🎨🍄

✨ Lovesong ✨

I finished this painting last week and shared a video of it, but I wanted to post a photo as well so everyone could get a closer look at all the little details.
This painting came from a very personal place.
Like many people, I've gone through seasons where I searched for happiness everywhere except the present moment. Looking back... looking ahead... forgetting that life is happening right here, right now.
Lovesong became my reminder that healing isn't about erasing the past. It's about finding your way home to yourself.
The little bluebird has always symbolized happiness to me, inspired by the beautiful story of The Blue Bird. It reminds me that what we're searching for is often much closer than we realize.

My hope is that when someone looks at this painting, they don't just see my story.
I hope they find a little piece of their own.

This painting is slowly coming together, one layer at a time. It's still far from finished, but I love watching it evolve with each brushstroke.
