You have to get dressed everyday…but it doesn’t have to be a dreary task.

I don’t know when we decided clothes had to be streamlined and formulaic and capsulized and structured and robotic…but here we are.

Part of my style journey is that I too once thought the “clean girl aesthetic” was for me. But over a few years of purging color, print, and personality out of my closet…o looked on there and did not see me. I saw what other people told me was “acceptable”.

If what is holding you back is the thoughts of others…here’s your get out of jail free card. It’s a prison. Get out. Who cares what they think?

Here’s another thing that changed my mind to wear what I love and have more fun: people will judge you regardless…might as well judge you while you are looking the most like YOU.

In case you relate to any of those and thought it was just a YOU problem…I’ll set the record straight for you 😉

One closet I was in recently had VERY minimal amount of clothes and she still had the same frustrations I listed in the slides. So it’s not always the amount of clothes causing the pain points either.

Here’s one more little nugget of truth for you: I’ve felt all those things too. Sometimes simultaneously. So I get it.

I get it- it’s easy to order from Amazon. It arrives within 48 hours, plenty of sizes, colors, and options in general…but the quality and cost per wear is lacking.
