I have said it before but this one hits a little different. Madi has been one of “My Kids” for more than 10 years. We love her as our own, so working on her dress, cape, veil, reception dress, & reception veil was the highlight of the past few months. I gave her wedding dress new straps and bustled it. I added a bustle to her cape to ensure it staying out of the way. I made her 144 inch veil, as well as a fun green reception veil. I added several rows of ostrich feathers to the bottom of her reception dress( that long torso and legs makes dresses a little too short sometimes) 😁
Madi, you are such a beautiful young lady inside and out, Clint is one lucky man to have the privilege to call you his wife. Thank you for trusting me with your special day💕

Anyone else start a veil, spend days on it, decide it’s not right, cut it apart and restart it? No? Just me 🤷🏼‍♀️.
Well I am happy with the redo. It looks much better!
I’ll show the remake once the bride wears it 👍🏻

There are certain brides that just make my job so much fun. Lexi gave me free reign of her veil her only request keep it a medium length. I altered the straps of her dress and brought the waste and hips in for a snugger fit. She chose a classic bustle for the train that kept the elegant shape of the dress. Lexi, you made my job so much fun. Thank you for trusting me with your special dress on your special day💜💜

So Brannon Russell came up with this great idea to be Ann Boleyn for Halloween , but not just any Boleyn. She chose the one from the Broadway musical SIX. This was A LOT of hard work, but I got her done. 👍🏻 She said, “Mom, you got this! You don’t have any trust in what you can sew.” 🙄 I guess I have to try more new things.
