So I've been arting again. I've decided I really love making mixed media creations.
This one started with the frog. I did that last night in watercolor and pen . I cut him out.
Today I started with an empty white canvas. I decided to use some of my craft paper for my back ground (pond and land). So with some cutting, tearing and gluing, I have my first layer of my creation.
My next layers go back and forth depending on what I "see" there and what supplies I have. These layers include watercolor and acrylic paint, various papers, washi tape, rub on transfers, stickers, wooden cut out, and various inks.
My frog was my original but I did use stencils and rubber stamps to help create the foliage and other hidden gems.
l've heard a saying that crafters/artists actually have 2 hobbies...the first is buying craft supplies and the other is using them. I live up to the first for sure. I think why I have started to enjoy this for of creation is that I get to use multi supplies. It was alot of fun to make.

I want to introduce myself. My name is Linda Hilsheimer. I am a new vendor at Needful Things Vendor Mall in Owasso. I specialize in apparel and gifts with my original artwork. I have several items to choose from and plan on keeping it fresh. I am really excited for this new venture. I hand paint many items and do ink sublimation of my original work.

I have hand painted shoes, hats, bags and gifts.
